Travelling

We travelled by our old van a lot!

Camping on Högbo Bruk show area in summer 2006 with finnish friends.

Gun and Leila taking it easy on the camp.

Peaceful moment.

Dad, mom and Carmen.

Our new housecar....

....and a little charming detail on it! ;-)

Carmen on Åland.

Carmen enjoying the cliffs of the Åland Islands.

Lobis met her siblings as we visited Sabrina and Iggy in Vännäs.

We made the most wonderful journey to Vlad´ka and Pepa in Horice, Czech Republic to mate Carmen to their Eda.

Carmen in their lovely garden.

Carmen saying “Hi everyone!”

Happy dandies playing in the garden.

“Mating practice” among the girls.

Pepa and Eda.

Finally mated – Carmen is sooo happy!

Pepa, Vlad´ka and Jan took us to the old mysterious Trosky Castle. All the dandies joined.

The stairs were steep and narrow but the view was breathtaking.

Amazing Bohemia from the Trosky top.

We also went to see Karlsteijn Castle.

The most charming cottages and gardens.

The smallest town in Czech republic with few inhabitants.

Like living in a fairy tale.

The ancient churchyard still used.

In summer 2009 we visited Öland with Carmen and three of her children. Here at the lighthouse called ”Tall Erik” on the northern end of the island.

The old ruins of the old castle Borgholm.

We met some new “friends”.

Inside the old ring wall of ancient castle Eketorp are houses from the iron age rebuilt.

Ove and dandies defending the coast.

We always love to take the ferry to wonderful island Gotland, one of our favourite places in Sweden.

There are plenty of charming little fishing villages.

The ancient cottage Norrlanda is always open to visit.

The old kitchen is charming but such a lot of work the women had to do!

Feel like an ice cream? The old country shop is open for the tourists.

Three dandie fellows on dog show in Trondheim, Norway. Jenufa became a Norwegian champion. Lauretta and Marco were company.

The ancient cathedral of Nidaros (the old name for Trondheim) is magnificent, one of the largest in Europe.

In old times pilgrims from all over Europe were coming here to visit the grave of Saint Olof.

Nidälven river runs through the old town parts, with houses close to the water.

Trondheim is situated at the fjorth and from the highest part one can see very far.

View over Trondheim with the river.

Along the way we saw snow covered mountaintops – in July.

Some of the views were breathtaking.

Seeing Minna in her house in Pyhtää, Finland, with dandies everywhere.

Here there are just mustards in the garden.

Marco met a cat for the first time, Minna´s old Veera. He just loved her and so did we.
