In October 2010 we were invited to a wedding in Bremen, Germany. It was the mum and dad of Lobis, a dandie bred by us, who were going to be husband and wife.

It was the most romantic wedding. The bride was gorgeous, the groom was handsome and the party was great – what more canyou wish?

The just married couple with the mother and father of the groom, all our very dear friends.

The same weekend was celebrated the 20 years jubilee of the reunion of Germany.

There were lots of people in the old centre of thecity.

Ove visiting a statue of the well known Stadtsmusikanten (Town musicians) from the tales of the Grimm Brothers.

The old square with the famous ancient Roland statue, which is part of the Unesco World Heritage.
We made a visit to Altstadt, the old town, with its amazing little houses and narrow alleys.

The athmosphere was quite unique.

Böttcher Strasse (Boettcher Street) was also most interesting to see.

Lots of trams are in frequent use.
In May 2011 we went to Wuppertal, Germany, to mate our Jenufa.

There we stayed with Monika and Manfred Rosenbaum, enjoying their lovely garden.

Lauretta came with us and Jenufa.

One of the striking arrangements made by Manfred and Monika with lots different trees and plants.

It was nice and sunny and we had some wonderful days.

A beautiful view over the garden from the balcony.

The chosen dandie to be the father of Jenufa´s puppies was successful German Dandies Nevio. Not only is he handsome but also very sweet.

Nevio being groomed to look his very best on the photos. Beautiful Nevio!

Manfred and Monika with the cutest newly wed couple, Jenufa and Nevio.
We also made a visit to lovely Heidelberg and had a walk in Altstadt (The Old Town).

The famous Madonna statue from 1718 at the market place Kornmarkt.

The beautiful old Heiliggeistkirche (Church of the Holy Spirit) from 1400 is still the main church in Heidelberg.

The Old Bridge, also called Karl Theodor Bridge, has a statue of the beloved builder and a beautiful view along the river.

Ove and dandies in front of the bridge tower.

The river Neckar flows through Heidelberg and the buildings climb the leafy steeps surrounding it.

The ancient castle was first built in 1225. Now its mighty ruins resides above the Old Town.

The market for tourist souvenirs has been built close to the walls of Heiliggeistkirche.

We also went to see to the imposing cathedral in Köln.
